Maeve O’Donnell is an award-winning uilleann piper and tin whistle player originally from Donegal, she moved to Co. Tyrone at the age of twelve and is now based in Belfast.
Maeve graduated from St Mary’s University College Belfast as a Primary School Teacher with Music as her main subject.
Maeve is the current recipient of the Young Musician’s Platform Award (Arts Council NI & BBC), Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival Bursary 2026, Gradam Ceoil Bursary (2023) and numerous All-Ireland champion titles in Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann and Scór na nÓg competitions.
Maeve has toured throughout Ireland, UK, Europe, the US, Canada and Australia, and performs and teaches regularly at festivals, concerts and traditional music events.
